I want to be a sucessful Photographer and do something along I’m a junior in high school, what are the steps
Dottie asked:
Hey,Well.I would a career that I may pursue that includes a good salary and yet I’d enjoy it.
Photography along with the Arts,is something I love.I also love psychology.I’m currently taking two electives in my Junior year.Photography I and Psychology I.
What should i do,the steps to be successful. My parents are having money crises and i saw the tuitions and fees online for several schools like The Arts Institutes and it’s expensive.I’m not sure what i should be currently doing,so far I’m thinking and trying hard to gain good grades. Please give me a good advice towards a good future and a safe good present tense.
What should I do photography and something else?Something like photography and something along related to arts perhaps?

Enter in as many photo contests as you can, especially school art shows. The people who judge them are experienced and you never know who will see your work. Maybe an agent, perhaps? It’s a lucky break. Also, there are photo scholarships available. Apply for those too. Good luck.
if you really want to pursue a photographyor arts career. i would HIGHLY suggest a college of arts. You said its expensive that is true all you have to do is make sure your grades are really good and apply for scholarships and grants. those can get you free money and then if need apply for student loans that you dont have to pay off untill you are finished with college. To get information about this kind of stuff talk to your schools career counsler if you have one and he\she will give you lots of good info.

i think you should go into a career that you are really going to like and not waste time and money on something thats only a fase. hope you make a good choice.
