online AAU (Academy of Art University) V.S. online AI chain (The Art Institute)?

JackRabbit asked:

I am planning on finishing my BA for Computer Animation and I have to decide between these two schools ASAP. I’ve been trying to dig up dirt within both these elegant schools, but i have not found any thing that might turn me away except the amount of cash i have to spend. Also I am planning to attend to these schools online, this brings me to the following questions…

What are the pros and cons for both schools and if you went to these schools what was your experience like? was the money worth it? what do i need to know?

PS- I wend to Full sail I’m not interested in Gnomon nor Vancouver.

Get their year books or annuals, ask the dean for contacts then talk to graduates and find out if they’re satisfied with what they got and did it actually prepare them for real world situations. Contact animation studios and ask if they have insight…you’ll have to contact them later for work so you might as well show ‘em youre savvy now as later
